Good Morning. With the holidays coming up, it’s so easy to just forget about what the meaning of the holidays are. We get so wrapped up (literally) in the joy of everything and forget. We forget why we get to celebrate this wonderful time of year. Now is the time to be the most thankful.
Thankful for our military who serve to let us keep celebrating the holidays with our loved ones. They don’t all get to come home. Some one has to keep going FOR us. We need to be thankful for all of the doctors, nurses, administration, etc who are there if a loved one needs them. We need to be thankful for our first responders who are there when duty calls. We need to be thankful for those we get to spend it with. Not everyone gets to sit around a table laughing and smiling. For some families, this will be the first year that they are missing someone for the holidays. It won’t be the same. Whether because of work, or even death… It’s very unfortunate and I couldn’t fathom dealing with the holidays like that. But to those who are, you are in my prayers. I pray for the strength you will need just to get you by. I pray for the arms that will hold you as you cry. and grieve. No matter what, I pray for you.
When traveling, use caution. It’s better to be late, than not arrive at all. I pray for safe and easy traveling. Especially with kiddos. I get it. I really do (From one mommy to another… or daddy). I pray that you enjoy your time with your loved ones. I pray that you eat good food that will nourish your sweet, sweet souls.
Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! 🙂 Be Thankful. Be Blessed. Enjoy.
